My friend invited me on an impromptu trip to San Francisco, and we ended up watching the sunset from Twin Peaks. It was one of the best sunsets I have ever seen; it felt like I was staring into heaven.
When I moved to San Jose for a summer internship, I visited my friend who worked in San Francisco. I fell in love with the city, and the public transportation was an awesome experience for someone used to Texas commutes.
On January 20th, 2019, I got to witness a lunar eclipse for the first time in my life. It was so cold outside that my fingers felt numb while adjusting the settings on my camera.
For my summer trip before heading off to College, my dad decided we should go to the Banff and Jasper National Parks in Canada. We visited many iconic lakes, such as Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, Bow Lake, Peyto Lake, and Maligne Lake. We also visited Bow Falls, the Cave and Basin Historical Site, and the Maligne Canyon. The blue color of the lakes were stunning! I think God decided to Photoshop the blue color of these lakes because it just looked too surreal. I tried out some long exposure photography to make the water look extra smooth, and my circular polarizing filter helped cut out ugly glare, revealing the true vibrancy of the water. If I had to choose one place to have a summer home, it would definitely be in Banff.
I drove an hour to this beach for the express purpose of eating at the Taco Bell Cantina. It is definitely one of the most beautiful Taco Bell experiences I’ve ever had.
I’ve always wanted to go to the beach in the morning spontaneously, but the past few cloudy weekends spoiled such plans. When I woke up to beautiful clear skies yesterday, I took my new Fuji X100VI to Mori Point to stretch its legs. All of the images are SOOC with these settings:

As COVID restrictions were getting lifted, and I was on summer break, my Dad and I took the opportunity to travel to Colorado.
It was purely coincidence that my friend was traveling to Yosemite while I was in San Jose for a summer internship. It was only about 4 hours away from me, so I joined him for the weekend for some amazing (and intense) hiking.
The Sierra Vista Open Space Preserve was truly stunning at sunset.
At an unbroken length of 75 miles, Cox’s Bazar is one of the longest natural sand beaches in the world. I was traveling with my family in Bangladesh over the summer in 2017 when I captured this shot of my cousins and sister walking down to the beach. The glow of the sun against the trees was magical.
I took these photos on my older Lumia 1520 Windows Phone back in July of 2016. I shot them in RAW mode and was able to edit the colors to really reflect the actual peachy sunset vibes in person. Later on I saw a cute couple sitting together on the edge of the rocks looking out towards the pier, and I couldn’t resist capturing the moment. My biggest regret is not going back to them and asking if they would like the photo. People like to say that Galveston is one of the ugliest beaches in Texas, but that day it looked so beautiful :)
I traveled to California with my family during Thanksgiving Break in 2016. The weather in California was so much better than Texas! We got to the Newport Beach just in time for me to take these pictures of the sunset.
West Coast, best coast! I loved traveling around Oregon. From the Columbia River Gorge to Smith Rock and more, there was no shortage of amazing scenery.
I had to drive to San Jose from Dallas for a summer internship, so I turned it into a fun road trip with my friend, Lysandra. She hadn’t seen the Grand Canyon before, and it just so happened to be on the way!
The view from my apartment in Austin during college.
I captured this sunset on the evening that my friends officially graduated from UT. It was bittersweet, as I still had a semester left, and it would be without them.
Hanging at Zilker with my roommates :)
I went to Hot Springs, Arkansas for spring break, and I saw these beautiful blossoms while walking downtown :D
It’s hard to beat the beauty of bluebonnets in the Texas Hill Country.
I had to wake up quite early for a Saturday robotics competition. Although I didn’t want to wake up so early, I had the pleasure of witnessing the amazing colors of the sky as the sun rose. Before I got in the car to leave, I took out my camera to capture this photo.
It was close to the end of August, and the summer rain left lots of raindrops sparkling on this bush on my porch.
I have no idea what these creatures are, but they kept eating the plants in our garden. However, they eventually froze to death during a cold front.
My mom got new lilies for her garden!
In front of my old house, there was a fire hydrant and a speed limit pole. This spider decided to build a web connecting the two. I sprayed the web with some water so that the webs would stand out in this picture.
While I was in Bangladesh over the summer in 2017, I took my camera to the rooftop of our apartment hoping to get a nice sunset picture. Instead, I found this mother dragonfly resting on one of the plants (I believe it’s a mother because of the black, egg-looking beads on its belly). I got really close to the dragonfly, and, even with the wind blowing it around, it wouldn’t fly away. I zoomed as much as my lens was capable of, and then I fired the flash to make the colors of the dragonfly really pop. I don’t think I’ll ever get so lucky with a dragonfly again!
My aunt’s husband took my family to visit his hometown of Sylhet in Bangladesh. I captured this image of the Sylhet mangroves from a tall lookout.
