Nursing + mechanical engineering power couple :D

My friend’s older sister, Alexa, is graduating from Baylor this year as part of the Class of 2021. She had a photoshoot scheduled with a different photographer, but the plans fell through. My friend has known me and my photography for a long time, so she told Alexa about me and asked me if I’d be willing to do a photoshoot, and of course I said yes. However, this was actually my first time doing a real graduation photoshoot! I told them this, but they trusted my skills, and I think the photos turned out great :)

Eshaan is my best friend Arjun’s older brother, and he just recently got married to his fiancée, Madison! Eshaan and Madison asked me for a photoshoot prior to their wedding so that they could print the photos and display them at the wedding venue.

Roxana graduated from UT Austin in 2022 with a degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering! I have known her since high school, and I was honored to get to capture these photos for her.

Sammy (and her adorable kitty, DaeMi) graduated from Texas A&M in 2023 with a degree in Industrial Engineering. We first met during high school robotics, where she got to see me grow as a photographer. She adopted DaeMi during college, so it was only fitting that he be part of the photoshoot too!

My friends from Klein Oak asked if I would take their prom pictures, and of course I agreed. I captured these photos at the Mercer Botanic Gardens.

Tessa hasn’t updated her LinkedIn profile picture in a while, so she came to me to take these :D

I’ve known Felix since high school because we were on a district robotics team together. I was the lead photographer of the team, so that’s what led Felix to ask me to take pictures of him and his sister Stephanie as a Christmas gift for his parents.

I was hanging out with Vishnu at the park, and he looked too good in the sunset for me to not take this picture☀️

Olivia graduated from UT in two and a half years! She wasn’t planning on taking grad photos at first, but her sister Caroline convinced her to. I’ve taken photos for Caroline and her org before, so she knew I’d do a good job for Olivia :)

When we finally received our caps and gowns for graduation, Nathan asked me to take graduation photos for him. For this shot, we went to the Rob Fleming Park. I took the picture from an extremely low angle to show off the dramatic clouds in the background, and I set up my HSS flash with a wireless trigger to light up Nathan and his cap in the air. I gave my phone to my friend who came with us to capture a photo behind the scenes (he managed to time the photo perfectly with the flash).

James needed some portraits done before spring break, so we chose to meet on the Monday before the break. The bipolar weather that we so adore in Texas then decided to rain on Monday. However, we didn’t have time in our busy college schedules to meet on any other day, so we waited for the rain to subside. The gloominess of the day was less than ideal, but I think the pictures from the day came out well. The addition of flash really helped bring out his eyes!

Caroline is member of UT’s Gamma Iota Sigma (GIS), an international business fraternity for students of insurance, risk management and actuarial science. I was taking headshots for the members of GIS, so here’s one of them :)

When I went to the Houston Zoo Lights with my friend, Rebekah, I knew that I would want to capture her with the Christmas lights in the background.

The Salcidos welcomed their new baby to the family a few months ago in October 2020. Fast forward to the start of 2021, and they asked me to photograph them for the new year :). We took these photos in front of the large Christmas tree in The Woodlands Market Street town center.

The first picture is of baby Jasmine getting dressed after her Baptism, and the second picture is of Jasmine on Christmas Eve.

It is a tradition for my AP English 4 class to sing Christmas carols to different classes all around the school on the last day before winter break. I immediately offered to take pictures of the whole event (part of the reason was so I wouldn’t have to sing). My teacher fell in love with the pictures I took. She never had a physical copy of photos from all her years of Christmas caroling, so I got my group of friends to all pitch in towards a high-quality photo book for her.

In all my years of being in a public school district in Texas that loves football, I had never been to a football game until my senior year of high school. I never participated in homecoming events before either, so I figured the homecoming football game would be a good way for me to kill two birds with one stone. I brought my camera to capture some of the school spirit.

The Viribus String Quartet is made up of some of the most skilled members from the Klein Collins Chamber Orchestra, and they were selected to perform at Indianapolis in the Music For All Festival. Arjun is one of the freshest guys I know, so a photo shoot with him was absolutely necessary.

Evan needed a profile picture for his LinkedIn, so he asked me to photograph him :)

Before our Thanksgiving break, the Student Engineering Council at UT hosted a Casino Night. I knew my friends were going to dress real spiffy, so I couldn’t possibly forget to bring my camera to capture them looking so good. I got the warm ambient mood lighting effect by using my HSS flash to decrease the ambient exposure and then adding a CTO gel and softbox to the flash.

My friend Madi (@malosadas) is an extremely talented artist. As a graduation gift for my friend Arjun, Madi painted him a pair of white sneakers. Her detail for the drawings was IMPECCABLE! Arjun is a big fan of Marvel and Dragon Ball Z, so Madi decorated the right shoe with Marvel artwork and the left shoe with Dragon Ball Z artwork. Mother Nature isn’t worthy of gracing the soles of these pieces of art. Arjun asked me to photograph him and his shoes after seeing the picture of my Adidas.

I was travelling with the Klein ISD Robotics Team, VorTX 3735, back home from Austin after our competition at the State Championship. One of our team members, Pearce, was having his birthday on the same day. We stopped at P. Terry’s to eat and celebrate, and Pearce’s mom asked me to have my camera ready to capture Pearce’s happiness.
