My friend recently got a new manual Camaro ZL1, so it was the perfect opportunity for me to practice my first roller shots!
I photographed this McLaren 765LT during a local Cars & Coffee meet. The front end of the 765LT is my favorite.
When I heard that there was going to be a Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport at my local Cars and Coffee meet, I knew I had to go. I was even more excited when I got there and saw it was parked right next to a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ! I’ve never seen a Bugatti or SVJ in person before, so this was a very memorable experience.
Some of my favorite shots at the 2022 COTA Cars and Coffee.
I photographed this absolutely stunning Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Volante during a local Cars & Coffee meet. The paint was truly mind blowing to witness in person, especially with the morning sunlight shining right on it. It was a mesmerizing pearlescent mix of green and yellow that changed as you shifted your angle of view. Pictures simply don’t do it justice.
On campus in front of the Gregory Gym, the Longhorn Car Club was showing off a few of their members’ cars. I just got out of physics class when I saw the cars, so I decided to go back to my dorm and grab my camera to take pictures of the cars. I used a circular polarizer to minimize reflections in this Ford Mustang.
I photographed this McLaren 720S during a local Cars & Coffee meet. The details were shining in full glory with the morning sunlight.
I photographed this Audi R8 during a local Cars & Coffee meet. I love the updated design of the newer R8 models.

I photographed this Corvette C8 during a local Cars & Coffee meet. The blue interior was quite nice.
I saw this stunning Supra while I was on the way back to my dorm with friends after eating wings at Plucker’s. The moment I saw it, I ran up to it with my phone and captured this photo. In person, this car looks like an alien.
For the rear quarter shot of this Corvette, I used a light painting technique with an off-camera flash. One burst of the flash would be way too small to light up the whole car, so instead, I set the camera to shoot with a long shutter speed, giving me time to fire multiple bursts of the flash across the car. I repeated this process for the rear, side, and top of the car, and then I merged all three of the shots in Photoshop.
