While I was in Bangladesh over the summer in 2017, I took my camera to the rooftop of our apartment hoping to get a nice sunset picture. Instead, I found this mother dragonfly resting on one of the plants (I believe it’s a mother because of the black, egg-looking beads on its belly). I got really close to the dragonfly, and, even with the wind blowing it around, it wouldn’t fly away. I zoomed as much as my lens was capable of, and then I fired the flash to make the colors of the dragonfly really pop. I don’t think I’ll ever get so lucky with a dragonfly again!
